Dexter has over 4 decades of experience in the hospitality industry. After 14 years of hotel operations experience, he started Simple Solutions in 1989 to provide affordable sales automation to the industry. By focusing on customer service, and providing highly effective solutions, he has organically grown his company to over 1,600 properties.

Ryan Hamilton

Ryan Hamilton

Ryan is a seasoned leader in conference planning and management with more than 20 years of experience in hospitality sales, marketing and administration. His background includes executive positions at HelmsBriscoe and Omni Hotels as well as work in senior hospitality staff recruitment. Ryan has co-founded two start-up companies with custom products that led to impressive client growth. He implements collaborative strategies with clients to provide reasonably priced, personalized services with a quality on par with the largest providers in the hospitality field.

Brian Eng

CO-FOUNDER

A technology entrepreneur, consultant, speaker, teacher, and author with over 25 years of experience, he has led new product development and software engineering initiatives for some of the world's largest and most progressive companies in hospitality, retail, and manufacturing. He is currently Adjunct Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where he shares his passion for building technology products with the entrepreneurs and industry executives of the future.

VP, SALES & IMPLEMENTATION

Rick has over 35 years in the hospitality industry with experience as a Regional and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for major national third party management companies, including Hostmark Hospitality Group, Marshall Hotels and Resorts, and was a co-founder of Real Hospitality Group. In his career, Rick sourced sales automation platforms, implementing the STS-R platform for over 15 years. With the development of STS Cloud, his expertise as an operator and understanding of the needs of clients and respective system users has translated into effective account training, management and an important understanding of the demands and expectations from our sales automation systems and how to work best with our clients to maximize efficiencies of the program users.

Simple Solutions is founded by Dexter McKenzie. STS is introduced to the industry as an affordable sales automation tool.

Bluebuzzard founded

Bluebuzzard is founded by Ryan and Brian. They introduce ProposalPath, a new and innovative approach to creating group and catering proposals.

2010

STS evolves to STS-R

STS evolves into STS-R, providing STS clients with remote data access.

Bluebuzzard partners with Simple Solutions

Bluebuzzard partners with Simple Solutions, integrates ProposalPath with STS-R.

Concept created for a cloud-based STS solution

Preliminary discussions about a new fully hosted cloud-based version of STS-R begin.
